Alright.. it’s that time of year. Weather wavering between much anticipated hot spring days and crazy storms.
Athens Americana‘s coming up (April 27th- May 1st) and we’re psyched for this year’s line-up. Organized by Adam and Justin Evans, this year’s festival expands to five days/nights of events with Athens’ debut screening of local guitar luthier and musician Scott Baxendale’s Do it for Johnny documentary film, plus an early show at Flicker w/ David Barbe and Hardy Morris (Dead Confederate) on the Thursday evening of the festival, a Saturday evening acoustic happy hour with music and an artisan market, and a fantastic all-day closing party at good ole Hendershot’s Coffee with Little Country Giants, Hope for Agoldensummer, Curley Maple, and more. Gonna be a great, long weekend in Athens!
Adam will be playing with the band on Saturday night, April 30th, joined by ace drummer and friend Jeremy Wheatley (Crooked Fingers), but come check out the whole festival because every night’s gonna be fantastic!
