Hey there. I’m on the board of a new organization called Community Voice International, founded by a passionate and driven Returned Peace Corp Volunteer who served in Senegal. We record music from communities in Senegal, sell the songs, and all proceeds go back into small-scale sustainable community development projects (new well, women’s garden group, library, etc.). $100 goes a long way in these areas.
There are 35 hours left in our fundraising campaign via Indiegogo. I’m donating copies of Sky Blue DeVille and Dugu Wolo as additional gifts to the rewards on the site for ‘pledges’ of $100 or more. Every bit helps.
