Well, here we are in the years. Hope the holidays have been great for you. Things have been fairly quiet show-wise on my end for a little bit, save for a great night opening for Jill Andrews at Eddie’s Attic in Atlanta (okay, Decatur) earlier this month. Speaking of shows, I’m looking forward to a special one this weekend with my friends Jonathan Byrd & band. Join us in Athens:

Duo show opening for the Jonathan Byrd & The Pickup Cowboys. These guys are folk dynamite, and great guys to boot.
A brief accounting as we surge into 2014:
So what exactly have I been up to lately? Well, laying low on the music front following the release and tours for Sky Blue DeVille, and writing a number of songs. I have a suspicion there’s reason to be pleased with the songs coming together these past few months. I’ve also been working in the thriving film and tv industry around Atlanta. So far (unless I’m cut out) I should be seen in Kill the Messenger (2014), Dumb & Dumber To (2014), and tv shows The Walking Dead, The Originals (CW; playing washboard), Unreal (Lifetime; 2014), Halt & Catch Fire (AMC; 2014), and others. Small background parts, but I’ve also acted in an independent tv pilot, a short film, and play a mega church preacher with three wives in an indie film. I’ll keep you posted on my “progress”… Fun, boring, mind-numbing, interesting. All in all a fine, low key six months. Looking forward to working on the next album project. You’ll hear from me about that as soon as it gets going.
