Welcome to the new year. Sad to see so many great, important musicians passing on these past few weeks.
What’s new? Here’s a bit of an update:
Archer’s Arrow is only 1/3 of a year old at this point. Visit the Store page or links to the right to download your copy and rock out.
Did a video shoot for unreleased song “Mine War” this weekend thanks to Braeden Orr of Single Serving Pictures and SCAD in Atlanta. Keep an eye out for that.
The Wild Fires are reconfiguring slightly and will be out playing some regional shows this spring and summer. You won’t wanna miss this powerhouse line-up! And…
The next album, Low Flyin’ Planes, was recorded at Dial Back Sound studio in Mississippi not too long ago, and we plan on mixing it in the spring. Really excited for that one to get out and be heard. Had a crack team of players lay it down including Bronson Tew, Crash Cason, Matt Patton (The Dexateens, Drive-By Truckers), Stu ‘Baby’ Cole (Jimbo Mathus), Kell Kellum, and Will McCarley. Our friend Jeff Shipman was on hand documenting the proceedings for a short film. Look for an opportunity in the next few months to pre-order the album, get a hold of other prizes, and help get this sucker launched in late 2016 or 2017!
Stay close, y’all..
