NEW! AUGUST 11, 2008 Lots of exciting
news from the home front.. Recent months have seen Adam perform as a
showcasing artist at the 2008 Folk Alliance conference in Memphis in
late February as well as at various day parties during this year's SXSW
in good ole Austin, Tejas. Check out the blog page for some cool stories

European tour. In its entirety. Should be a fun read. FEBRUARY 5, 2008 Adam will perform
at this year's Folk Alliance Conference in Memphis on Feb. 21st. Catch
his evening showcase at 6:30pm & private showcases over the course

page for details. DECEMBER 6, 2007 Adam heads out this week for his first string of shows abroad- the Irish/UK Tales & Trails Tour. Highlights include an interview/acoustic session on RTE Irish National Radio, performances in Dublin's famed Cobblestone club and Galway's Roisin Dubh, opening for UK blues legend Bob Pearce in Amen, NL, and shows in London, house concert in York, Amsterdam, etc. Visit the shows page for complete listing. See y'all across the way.. OCTOBER 30, 2007 Work continues on Adam's second record, Western Tales & Trails @ AJ Adams' Troubadour Den studio in Athens. Recent guests include Randall Bramblett playing saxophone and piano, Phillip McArdle on guitar, and Jess Franklin on organ. The project should be completed in time for the UK tour in mid-December. Expect a February/March '08 release on Cowboy Angel Music. Visit Adam's myspace blog for updates. JULY 26, 2007 Hey y'all. Back in Athens after a run of shows in Baltimore, NYC (Lakeside Lounge & Banjo Jim's), & DC (the ole' standby, Grog & Tankard) and a visit to New Hampshire's beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee. Recording continues and it's sounding fine, songs building slowly but surely. Got some August shows coming up in Athens & Atl, and Shut Eye Records' The United State of Americana compilation, featuring "Restless Soul", will be coming out soon. Basic tracking and overdubs will continue in June & July, followed
my mixing and mastering. Western Tales & Trails should be finished
sometime in August, possibly as late as early September. So far, it's
shaping up nicely & sounding great! MARCH 30, 2007 Hey folks! Adam's back from late February's mini-tour
(Oxford, St. Louis, Tulsa, Denton..) & a trip to Guatemala. Get

Expect some early-July New England shows. The coming 4-6 weeks should
see Adam back in the studio recording his second offering, Western Tales
& Trails . Lots of excitement on the homefront- it's gonna be a
fine record! JANUARY 28, 2007 Back in Athens after some travels. Thanks to all the friends, old and new, who came out for the recent shows. DC, Pittsburgh, and NYC were a blast. Thanks to Raphael McGregor for sitting in on lap steel @ Mo Pitkin's in New York. Be on the lookout for a mini-Midwestern circuit in late February. Been getting some great reviews from the Netherlands and Belgium as well, so have look on the bio/press page. 2007 looks to be an exciting year! Expect the recording and release of Adam's second record, as well as a trip across the pond for shows in The Netherlands & Belgium! DECEMBER 15, 2006 Exciting month, folks. Had a blast at the 40 Watt show. Thanks to Brandon Reynolds (bass) and Bo Bedingfield (drums) for holding it down and rockin', plus everyone else who sat in- Patrick Hargon (mandolin), Joseph Blake Evans (guitar), Judith Gilbert (flute), & Colin Jones (trumpet). Also enjoyed playing for Athens' Save Darfur, GA Chapter's inaugural event/fundraiser @ the Flicker on Dec. 9th. Clothing company and supporter of the Texas/Red Dirt music scene, those fellas from out west are crafting a special custom Adam Klein Takamine acoustic guitar! Can you believe it? Didn’t think so. But Adam did win a Takamine signed by members of the Texas/Red Dirt bands (Reckless Kelly, Cross Canadian Ragweed, etc.) compliments of So. Thread. Check ‘em out at www.sothread.com.
